Greg lies second in the championship after the opening rounds...

The first two rounds of the Asian Formula Three championship took place in Batangas in the Philippines earlier today.

After the first two rounds, Greg is currently in second place in the Asian Formula Three Promotions championship following excellent third places in both the first and second round.

This is an excellent start for Greg, especially since it was his first competitive outing in a Formula Three car, on an unfamiliar circuit, in what could only be described as extreme weather condiditons with temperatures during the race reaching thirty nine degrees centigrade!

“I’m thrilled with the result. To secure two podium finishes, and second place in the championship from my first competitive outing in Formula Three is fantastic. I’ve learned an awful lot this weekend, both in terms of driving these cars and also performing at the highest level in extreme heat. I’m really happy with how things have gone and I’m thrilled to be returning to Dublin with some silverware!”

Greg arrives back in Dublin from the Phillippines on Tuesday morning and his preparations for the next round of the Asian championship in China on May 7 & 8 will begin immediately.
